What could possibly be the story behind this truck? How did it get this way? Why would someone name it “The Green Bean”? Who stenciled “puppy” on the white fender? Does it have an engine? Is the bed even attached? Does someone have a current viable plan to justify its existence? What in the actual hell is going on here?

poor college kid, bed probably had rust so they went to the junkyard and picked up a new one. someone prob hit the fender drunk driving in the campus lot so off he went to the junkyard for a new fender. couldn’t find green or brown so primer white it is. as for the stencil and “Green Bean” easy answer. his friends are just dicks.

I could choose an interesting car on that campus to write an article on every single day. You would not believe the vehicles that exist there. The University of Northwestern Ohio is one of the nation’s best automotive tech schools. There’s a diesel program, and a high performance program. We have our own race team. Seriously. We also have a giant dirt hill to climb in bro trucks. And we have an insane amount of rednecks with ridiculous vehicles.

I'm in the business program, FYI.

Looks like a failed pre-runner project. S-10's have weak ball joints normally, that thing must eat ball joints for lunch. The shackle lift in the rear is super hanky too.

MAYBE......the bed isnt bolted down everywhere.......... but yeah, those gaps, and wheel openings, are screaming for some help..........

I’m thinking bought cheap wrecked in the left rear, slapped a bed on it from the junkyard (or back yard) Lift kit solved the bent issue to make it driveable. Tire wear must be real strange...

it has that fresh dent in the middle of the passenger side, real minor, but like you say, a good hit on the drivers rear would explain a LOT.......poor truck probably dog tracks so bad, with the driver side rear trying to get a look at whats happening up ahead.......

only has to last 3 more years of school..........

definitely one of those cars you drive behind with a clear view of all four tires, no matter the angle! A motor, 4 wheels, seats and a steering wheel! To be young!

when your only worry is whether or not the gas gauge needle is going to stop bouncing off the E......... and whether that ticking under the hood ive never opened before is turning into a knock, “whatever bro, just turn up the radio”............. young indeed........
